馬來西亞證實，留尼旺發現的飛機殘骸，確實來自於去年失蹤的馬航370班機。

馬來西亞總理（納吉）宣佈，國際專家鑑識之後，一致認定留尼旺發現的飛機殘骸，確實來自馬航370。那架飛機去年三月八號從吉隆坡飛往北京途中偏離航道失蹤。一年多的海上大範圍搜索，一無所獲，不料上星期在留尼旺海邊發現一塊機翼。這至少證實了，班機確實墜入了印度洋。

馬來西亞總理納吉說，希望這個發現，最起碼可以讓家屬放下懸著的心，親人生死未卜的煎熬，相信是難以言喻。

事實上，負責殘骸分析的法國方面，還沒有下結論，檢察官只說那片殘骸確實是波音777機翼的一部份，馬航370，就是波音777 。法國軍方實驗室，今天還要進行更細部的分析，法國與馬來西亞在說法上的落差，並不表示法國懷疑馬來西亞的結論，而是檢察官必須在法律程序完備後，才能結案。

在確認殘骸來自失蹤班機之後，接下來，專家還要試著從殘骸上的蛛絲馬跡，尋找空難的原因，在馬來西亞召開記者會之前，空難家屬已經先一步獲得告知，一個罹難者的妻子說，希望搜尋失蹤班機的作業，不會就此結束，家屬還是希望讓親人入土為安。
