Memorial Cup Tournament for Gen. Choi Hong Hi

Grand Master Park Jong Soo has organised the Gen. Choi Cup on the 11th and 12th April

2009. At the same time the Canadian Black Belt Hall of Fame organised their 4th edition

on 11th April at night.

The Gen. Choi Cup was a successful event, Masters from USA, the Caribbean and the

Middle East attended. At the Canadian Black Belt Hall of Fame, Gen. Choi Hong Hi was

inducted as Founder of Taekwon-Do .

On behalf of the Canadian Black Belt Hall of Fame Board, Grand Master Park Jong Soo

presented the Award to Mrs. Choi Chun Hi, the widow of late Gen. Choi who was present

with her daughters. The audience, around three hundred people, stood up clapping for five

minutes as Mrs. Choi received the Award.
