The 3rd Session for Taekwon-Do Integration between ITF and WTF

was recently over

As planned, the 3rd Session of the Coordination Committee for Taekwon-Do Integration between

the ITF and WTF was held in Beijing, China on 22-23 Oct. this year.

The ITF Delegation led by Mr. RYU Song Il, the Chairman of Coordination Committee for

Taekwon-Do Integration representing ITF, and the WTF Delegation headed by Mr. Dae Soon Lee,

the Chairman of Coordination Committee for Taekwon-Do Integration representing WTF, took part

in the meeting.

The Session resulted in announcing the Joint Communique as below;

JOINT COMMUNIQUE

The ITF and WTF held the 3rd Session of the Coordination Committee for

Taekwon-Do Integration in Beijing, China on 22-23 Oct. 2007.

At the meeting, the both parties had the deliberate and comprehensive

discussions for the merger of the 2 International Bodies for Taekwon-Do.

In order to make it come true as early as possible, the both sides agreed to

further study the way to run the Coordination Committee smoothly in the

future.

The two parties also agreed to establish the subcommittees separately for

Sparring and Pattern under the Coordination Committee and simultaneously

consult the issues for the technical integration for Taekwon-Do.

The two sides were to determine the date and venue for the next Session of the

Coordination Committee for Taekwon-Do Integration later through the

communications.
