街頭表演 / 老人與狗

在康橋的街道上隨處可見街頭表演，表演的方式無奇不有，比起其他年輕絢麗的街頭藝人，老人與狗的組合似乎就不太能吸引遊客的目光了，但是，儘管駐足的遊客不多，賞金也少，老人的表演熱情似乎絲毫不受影響，依舊賣力地演唱著。
我想，這是對藝術的堅持，也是為生活的逼不得已，在所有民生物資飛漲、有人因付不起電費無法開暖氣、失業人口又創新高的英國，街頭表演不僅是自娛娛人的興趣，更是維持生活的工具。
坐在一旁的狗兒始終盡忠職守地在曲畢發出響亮的叫聲，老人臉上滿足的表情令我動容。

Do you pay for him ?Yes, I "paid" attention to his performance and his dog. After I came back, I regretted for that. I think that I could at least give him some pence though I didn't bring much money with me that day. I will definitely do that if I go there and see him again.
