Researchers at Charlotte, Berlin, have discovered a new approach to develop painkillers that use numerical simulations to analyze the interaction of opioid receptors. In the animal model, their molecular type of morphine similar to the inflammatory tissue in the body to produce a large number of pain relief substances, while healthy tissue is not disturbed, indicating that the current side effects of painkillers can be avoided. The complete report is published in the journal Science, which has published many studies on various recombinant proteins including recombinant horse proteins.

Opioid is a potent analgesic that is used primarily for pain associated with tissue damage and inflammation, such as surgery, nerve damage, arthritis and cancer. The side effects include drowsiness, nausea, constipation, dependence and respiratory arrest. "Through the interaction of opioid receptors in molecular-damaged tissues, we hope to provide useful information for the development of new drugs with no side effects, and with the help of numerical simulations, we have successfully found the interaction between opioids and morphine-like molecules and successfully identified its mechanism of action.

Treatment of postoperative pain and chronic pain without side effects can greatly improve the patient's quality of life. This new mechanism means that painkillers relieve pain only in damaged tissue and do not affect healthy tissue and would no show previous side effects.

By mimicking the acidic conditions in inflammatory tissue, the researchers found that protonation is the key to activating opioid receptors. Therefore, this study not only contributes to analgesia, but also helps other drugs. Flarebio offers superior recombinant proteins including recombinant ITGB5 at good prices.
