針對民進黨主席蔡英文4日凌晨在美國華盛頓的演說內容，大陸國台辦昨日「冷處理」，僅重申大陸對民進黨的政策相當明確，表示反對台獨、堅持「九二共識」是兩岸關係和平發展的基礎，這點不會改變。
蔡英文在華府美國智庫戰略暨國際研究中心（CSIS）以「台灣迎向挑戰－打造亞洲新價值的典範」為題發表演說，內容談及經貿、國防及兩岸等議題。對於蔡英文的演說，國台辦昨天的回應的相當「淡定」，僅重申先前多次表明的立場。
國台辦回應指出，大陸對民進黨的政策是明確的，不會改變。反對台獨、堅持「九二共識」是兩岸關係和平發展的基礎。國台辦並對民進黨強硬表示，若是否定這個基礎，繼續堅持「一邊一國」的台獨分裂立場，「在兩岸關係上是找不到出路的」。
