為期兩天的「亞洲區塊鏈高峰會(2018 Asia Blockchain Summit, ABS)」順利落幕，發起人國民黨立委許毓仁感謝各方投入，讓台灣產業再創生機，但他也遺憾有人故意打擊區塊鏈，不希望區塊鏈產業在台灣萌發生機。

許毓仁說，很遺憾地，在台灣區塊鏈業者齊心合作，與國際接軌的同時，有部分媒體引用不實報導和片面資訊，未經求證就攻擊，他感到十分痛心，這不只是對他個人的傷害，也是對剛萌芽的台灣區塊鏈生態系的一大打擊。區塊鏈是新興技術，是台灣可以扭轉國際地位、成為科技先驅的大好機會。面對這個契機，台灣要團結，而不是讓不實的報導，來打擊很努力想要推動台灣進步的人們。因此，對於不實的報導，他不排除尋求法律途徑，以維持台灣區塊鏈夥伴們的清白。

許毓仁表示，他要感謝到場力挺的金管會主委顧立雄、國發會主委陳美伶、科技部次長許有進、經濟部次長王美花等嘉賓。行政首長對於區塊鏈政策的推動以及金融法規的鬆綁，是對區塊鏈產業最大的助力。他也要特別肯定與感謝金管會副主委鄭貞茂，對加密貨幣的新興產業採取低度監管(Light Touch)，他也感謝所有協助參與 ABS 的人。

許毓仁指出，亞洲區塊鏈高峰會不只邀請到來自全球 120 多名、30 多個國家的區塊鏈專家蒞臨，高峰會兩天更創下共累計 4,000 多的參加人次，超過 60 間的新創公司參與。蒞臨的夥伴們不只來自金融相關產業，公部門、娛樂產業、醫療、媒體等領域的專家也共襄盛舉，一起激盪區塊鏈與其他產業技術結合應用的發展可能。

這次峰會讓台灣本土區塊鏈團隊與國際接軌，也讓世界看見台灣發展區塊鏈產業的野心與實力：例如遊戲橘子 Gamania 發表區塊鏈道具交易平台、KKFARM 發表音樂線上區塊鏈平台、奧丁丁創辦人王俊凱談旅遊、食安朔源區塊鏈應用...等，共有近百名影響力甚鉅的講者上台分享經驗，與會的新創團隊們和贊助商也對能參與這次盛會並且與國際接軌，讓台灣被世界看見表示肯定。
