民進黨總統參選人蔡英文與國民黨總統參選人朱立倫正式展開「英倫大戰」，根據旺旺中時民調中心最新民調發現，目前蔡英文的支持度是38.9％，朱立倫21.8％，宋楚瑜8.8％，蔡保有領先優勢；而若泛藍整合成功，在宋楚瑜退出下，蔡英文支持度升至45.7％，朱立倫升至27％，顯示蔡英文幾乎篤定可贏得大選。
由於蔡英文可望成為下一任總統，民調中有47％的選民認為國會應有制?民進黨的力量，而專科以上學歷選民有6成表示應制?，避免民進黨「整碗捧去」，學歷愈高愈認同制?的力量；而認同民進黨完全執政的比例則為23.9％；此外有45.9％選民認為蔡英文有需要進一步說明如何維持兩岸現狀。
國民黨重新徵召朱立倫與蔡英文對決後，旺旺中時民調中心針對台灣地區700餘位選民的調查發現，目前有71.7％的人表示明年會投票，11.9％的人拒絕投票，16.5％不置可否，沒有明確回應。
