教育部長吳思華今天出面試圖與反課綱學生對話。不過雙方對話沒交集，抗議民眾在吳思華返身回到教育部，丟擲香蕉皮和藍白拖鞋表示不滿，宣告談判破裂。吳思華強調，社會上有很多問題不是簡單的黑白，課綱也一樣，希望有機會的話，大家能一起坐下來，針對課綱問題理性討論，找到一個大家都可接受的方案。
