大陸國家主席習近平和日本首相安倍晉三日前在印尼參加亞非會議時實現了半年來的第二次「習安會」，這次會談氣氛良好。但在安倍隨後的訪美期間，美日卻發表新修訂版《美日防衛合作指針》，將釣魚台納入美日安保範圍，無疑是倒打「習安會」一耙，也難怪大陸外交部及國防部都跳出來重批。

因為釣魚台主權爭議而陷入緊張的中日關係，在去年APEC期間實現首次「習安會」後有逐漸和緩跡象，但日本從4月起在小學教科書中將釣魚台納入日本領土，如今《美日安保條約》又納入釣魚台，企圖透過美日同盟爭奪釣魚台主權，勢必讓中日在釣魚台主權上加劇爭議。

另外，今年是抗日勝利70周年，陸方一直希望日本能正視史實，對「二戰罪行」道歉，但安倍無論是在亞非會議或是美國國會演講時，對於二戰歷史問題都只提「深刻反省」，未對侵略行為及慰安婦問題提出道歉。這也凸顯中日之間，無論是歷史問題，或是釣魚台爭議都是難解的習題。
