鴻海集團董事長郭台銘昨前往三峽愛物園悼念弟弟郭台成，針對八仙樂園塵爆受害者，他鼓舞年輕人用意志催起再生機能，痛苦一定要堅忍住。他旗下的醫療小組將找中國專家看能否一起幫忙。
郭台銘昨接近12時才抵達愛物園，比過去的行程稍晚。他說從這次八仙塵爆事件讓大家學到了很多，但是代價太大了。當天已經開會開了一天，當鴻海討論捐款時，公文送上來之後，他當晚上飛機之前就「簽下去」、決定捐款，他認為，這些年輕人需要打氣、需要給他們祝福。
他說年輕人最大本錢就是身體再生的機能比年紀大的人要好，如果用意志催起再生的機能、可活化身體的細胞。痛苦一定要堅忍住，「當初我弟弟也折磨了1年半，也是完全沒有免疫系統，雖然他離我們而去，但我還感念到他堅強的意志。」
郭台銘發現，台灣目前在燒燙傷的醫療資源是「有點緊張」，但透過這事件的動員，反而讓大家對這種臨時意外發生的事件，有了憂患意識。不只透過電視，郭台銘也與自己集團內的醫療小組討論，中國大陸有專家願意來幫忙，他也立刻請小組研究，比較雙方的強弱，希望能引進技術來幫忙。
北部醫院床位吃緊，郭台銘指出，在衛福部的機制下，資源已經很有秩序地調配，連他亞太的員工中有人是傷者，曾經想協助家屬轉到更專門的醫院，但一直無法成功，這代表衛福部已經掌控整體，有秩序地調配。
