YEAR-END GIFTS

Dear Mayyee Losa, This Thursday, December 31, is the last day to give a 2009 tax-deductible, year-end contribution to the children of ChildFund International. You must act quickly, there’s only a short time left!

• Children’s Greatest Needs
  This general fund is used for developing, operating, and providing life-sustaining programs and services that are not funded by sponsorship or other restricted funds.
• ChildAlert Emergency Fund
  The ChildAlert Fund helps ChildFund respond quickly to provide for the immediate needs of children and the long-term recovery of communities.
• Learning for Life
  Donations to our Learning for Life fund support education initiatives and vocational programs that help children around the world stay in school so they can receive a basic education and acquire skills needed to enter safe and productive occupations.

There are three easy ways to make a gift to ChildFund: online, phone and mail. To make a contribution visit the Donation page and choose the appropriate fund from the drop-down menu. You can also call a ChildFund representative at 1-800-776-6767 until 5:00 pm Thursday, December 31, if you want a year-end deduction. If you are mailing a contribution, please note that all gifts must be postmarked by December 31 to ensure your gift is a 2009 tax-deductible gift.
