～ 隨風而逝～

       這是美國歌手、巴布狄倫 (Bob Dylan)於1961年所創作的一首搖滾民歌 ，那時他

20歲，原文 Blowing in The Wind。今天終於獲得了諾貝爾文學獎，打敗了連續七年被

提名的日本作家村上春樹，是首位以歌手身份獲獎者，得獎理由為“在美國歌曲的偉大傳

統裡，創造新的詩意表現手法”。

       記得年輕時很喜歡一些英文歌曲，“隨風而逝”就是其中一首，現在還常常哼：

      How many roads must a man walk down

      Before they call him a man

      How many seas must a white dove sail

      Before she sleeps in the sand

      How many times must the cannon balls fly

      Before they're forever banned

      The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind

      How many years must a mountain exist

      Before they're allowed to be free

      How many times can a man turn his head

      And pretend that he just doesn't see

   巴布狄倫以詩的方式寫出了代表當代美國土地、文化、新一代知識份子、年輕人的心聲

成了“搖滾民謠詩人”，Blowing in The Wind 不但成為60年代的反戰國歌，The Times

are A-changin也吹響了美國60年代的反社會運動號角，歌詞充滿著美國民權運動的表

徵。他的作品深刻的影響全球，也影響了台灣的民歌，台灣校園流行著“唱自己的歌”不能

不說是如此。

    巴布狄倫今年75歲，2011年4月曾經來台灣演唱，可惜未能恭逢其盛，不過喜歡的歌

手竟然能獲得諾貝爾文學獎，還真是讓我興奮得睡不著呢！
