Chinese Paper Cutting Art - is the first type of paper cutting design, since

paper was invented by Cai Lun in the Eastern Han Dynasty in China. 

The art form later spread to other parts of the world with different regions

adopting their own cultural styles.

The Republic of China in Taiwan has been actively promoting the renaissance

of Chinese culture since 1980.  The art of paper cutting has again received

a great deal of attention because of heavy publicity, resulting in even more

innovative art work.
