Remain a mystery, your black subconsciousness
Intently listening to the melody of the bandoneon
Caressing heat of the noon-sun
The melting bodies
Hypnotized into a void of nothingness
Mourning the lost Thing in you
So entwined that separation is death to you
Adultery set to the dancing floor, spoken
Sin to its own pace
Buds of sheer voluptuousness awaken
Almost copulation in the shade of gaze
That drives your naked spirit sliding into the air
Frozen in the forbidden lyrics of despair
Tango, a lining of amatory passion
Sparkling bodies to a joined mind
Your feet is shadowing mine
The illusion of a barrida
As I rest my life against yours
The remnants of a melancholic parada
A foreplay disguised in death’s delusion
(The poem was inspired by Julia Kriteva’s Black Sun and tango learning.)
