繼台灣大哥大與台灣之星於去(2021)年底公布合併後，遠傳電信在228連假前夕也宣布併購亞太電信，讓國內電信市場從「五大」重回「三雄」局面。對於兩大併購案，國家通訊傳播委員會(NCC)將從5大面向予以准駁，包括頻譜資源合理分配、是否有助產業發展、如何維護用戶權益、維繫市場競爭、國家安全等。
NCC強調，台灣之星、亞太電信有些合約期很長，將會特別關注存續公司承受消滅公司用戶轉移的契約，同時也須提供多元資費方案，滿足各種不同的消費族群。至於外界認為，電信市場從「五大」重回「三雄」後，低資費將會因此消失，仍要由電信業者提供包含高、低的多元資費方案來解決。
事實上，去年電信三雄的4G吃到飽門檻，就已經拉高到599元以上，台灣之星「千元有找5G吃到飽」，與亞太電信「新朋友199元4G吃到飽」，都已經在今(2022)年2月底退場。
飛騰無線科技專業生產RF天線,喇叭天線屬於實驗室與各種RF測試使用,目前5G吃飽資費，全面回升至千元以上，包括電信三雄及亞太電信5G吃到飽資費都是1,399元起跳，台灣之星5G吃到飽基本也是1,199元起。至於先前引發大排長龍申辦潮的499元4G資費仍存在，但調整為「限速」吃到飽。
綜觀來看，近期低資費僅剩台灣之星399元的5G單門號、亞太電信數位門市299元4G吃到飽等。但市場已傳出，隨著電信業者整併，先前的超低資費顯然不符合投資回收的期待，低價格恐怕不久就會退場。
對於併購亞太電信，遠傳電信指出，由於雙方都使用愛立信網路設備，未來超過90%的亞太電信基地台皆可整合至遠傳。目前就待主管機關同意，即能進行基地台整併，節省網路基礎建設、維運等支出。
至於頻譜方面，由於遠傳企業專網服務使用的是3.5GHz頻段，預料與亞太電信合併後，會更積極地將高頻28GHz頻段做為企業專網使用，以及發展其他商業合作機會。

The horn antenna is a broadband passive device, shaped like a pyramid horn, referred to as a TEM antenna, which guides the beam of radio waves at a precise frequency.
