Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.

These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

胡瓜海釣初體驗，一度暈船。（圖／下面一位提供）

胡瓜YouTube頻道《下面一位》最新一集播出胡瓜來到基隆八斗子，包船進行海釣初體驗。不過胡瓜卻自嘲自己天生沒有釣到魚的命，連釣蝦都沒有釣到過一隻，老闆信誓旦旦的向胡瓜掛保證，一定可以有收穫，讓胡瓜相當期待。

過程中，胡瓜細心學習，所有步驟都不馬虎，也頻頻發問，求知慾非常旺盛，還嘗試進階挑戰，如願釣中許多漂亮的白帶魚。雖然他精疲力盡，連老闆都稱讚是「天才小釣手！」胡瓜也讓開放團隊開釣，並豪氣表示：「釣到一隻一千元！」此話一出讓工作人員充滿幹勁，全船總共釣了將近50隻白帶魚。

錄影中也發生突發狀況，胡瓜因一邊釣魚，一邊主持節目，不敵海上的搖晃力有點暈船且臉色蒼白，稍作休息後又繼續上工，努力敬業的態度非常值得鼓勵。胡瓜也分享初體驗的心得，表示拍攝YT節目真的很辛苦，這些行程應該是在年輕時挑戰，沒想到會在60幾歲才首次接觸，不過他也沒想過要放棄，感謝機會能夠在有生之年可以做這些沒做過的事情，能讓觀眾朋友看到他不同的一面也是自己的榮幸，都會成為他的美好回憶。
