Predicting: to say that something will happen in the future
Skimming: to read something quickly in order to find a particular point or the main points

Scanning: to look at every part of something carefully, especially because you are looking for a particular thing or person
vocabulary skill building
none: to name people, places, things, and ideas or to describe another none
verb: to describe actions, experiences, states, or conditions
adjective: to describe or modify nouns
adverb: to modify verbs, adjectives, or an entire sentence.
