AI熱潮帶動記憶體需求大爆發，造成全球大缺貨。隨著輝達、超微急需記憶體支撐自家AI處理器的運作，在記憶體市場占有巨大份額的美光自然受惠。美光抓準商機，5日即宣布，旗下容量最大的固態硬碟(SSD)開始出貨。美光資深副總裁Jeremy Werner強調，記憶體容量的突破，將讓數據中心營運商擁有關鍵槓桿，能夠改善架構層級的總體擁有成本，這點在能源取得成為AI基建限制之時，尤為被體現。
