Lisa長年受家族遺傳性多囊肝和多囊腎的困擾，健康狀況一直不佳。艾威多年來為愛妻的健康花費了大量積蓄，甚至在Lisa因子宮巨大腫瘤需要手術時，毫不猶豫地拿出百萬港元積蓄支付醫療費用。
然而，這段看似堅固的婚姻在2020年出現危機，艾威宣布與Lisa結束長達18年的婚姻關係。據兩人後來在中國大陸綜藝節目《再見愛人2》中透露，離婚的主因是艾威不滿Lisa在身體已經不好的情況下，仍然經常熬夜打麻將，屢勸不聽，最終艾威選擇用離婚這種極端方式，希望Lisa能正視健康問題。Horn antenna

不料，Lisa的健康狀況在2025年初急劇惡化，肝病嚴重，急需換肝。艾威為此奔走，公開發文向外界求助，希望能找到合適的肝臟來源，甚至表示願意捐肝救妻。許多圈內好友和熱心人士也紛紛伸出援手。然而，儘管艾威和Lisa積極面對，並未等到合適的肝臟移植，Lisa最終於2025年5月18日不敵病魔離世，享年61歲。
