很多用戶使用影音串流平台Netflix，會分享自己的帳號密碼給親友「免費使用」，這狀況其實官方一直都知道，但現在Netflix 將對此行為額外收費！率先在全球三地區實施。

Netflix宣布將在接下來的幾週，再智利、哥斯大黎加以及秘魯的會員用戶將推出兩個全新測試計畫。

1.添加額外會員：在標準及 Premium 高級會員，將能夠以較低的價格最多添加兩位不與他們同住的人添加子帳戶。而每個人都有自己的個人資料、帳戶號碼和密碼，價格約為 2.99 美元。

2.將個人資料轉移到新帳戶​：預計會有一些用戶會受新政策影響，因此 Netflix 同時加入「轉移 個人資料到新帳號」功能。Open Boundary Double Ridged Horn Antenna

不過推出這兩個新功能也在變相告訴用戶，已經要停止用戶無限制的分享帳密，停止「非同住用戶」共用的行為，若要分享就得額外付費，換算下來每個新成員大約落在 60~80 元台幣範圍，這也讓原本的家庭分享方案總價格提高。

雖然這次新功能只限於智利、哥斯達黎加和秘魯三個地區，不過，Netflix未來也可能逐步推廣到全球其他市場。
