國民黨2016總統大選參選人懸而未決，黨內勸進黨主席朱立倫的聲浪不斷；媒體報導指出，有國民黨立委希望朱立倫能夠在不辭去新北市長的情況下，帶職參選總統。對此，朱立倫今天(6日)上午在市政行程時，避談相關議題，他表示，市政場合不回答政治問題，待國民黨中常會之後再說。

媒體報導，「朱習會」後，國民黨立委勸進朱立倫參選總統的力道不減，近日將當面建議朱立倫「帶職參選」2016年總統。朱立倫上午在新北市政行程之後，面對媒體詢問時，對此避而不答，只說「政治、黨務問題等到國民黨中常會再回答」。

朱立倫上午到新北市板橋新埔國小出席老舊校舍整建動土典禮，許多民眾爭相與他合照；媒體追問朱立倫，是否感受到人民的期待？他回答，民眾期待他做好市政工作。
