但市場人士分析，現在談中信金接不接手大巨蛋還太早，一來是，中信金若要接手大巨蛋，前提是遠雄與市府完成解約、有了確切結果，而且市府要公開招標；二來，若是未來採公開招標，也要看招標條件內容條件，才有辦法評估。

由於中信目前擁有中信兄弟象隊，也用壽險資金買下台中洲際棒球場，且經營得有聲有色，加之大股東對經營巨蛋有興趣，讓外界不免揣測，未來中信接手的可能性相當高。
