1963年五月，「真善美」在薩爾斯堡實地開拍，直到現在，「真善美」仍然是有史以來最賣座的電影之一..."Do Re Mi"這首歌曲也陪了不少人渡過童年(如果您說沒聽過的話，想必您一定沒童年...呵呵~這是不太可能的啦!)
回憶"Do Re Mi"這首歌...這首歌曲描述瑪莉亞如何教會七個小孩辨識音階，並且將歌詞加入，讓音樂充滿意義的「教學過程」，歌曲全長五分三十三秒，卻必須具有說服力地呈現出一群原本不懂樂理的小孩如何變得瞭解音樂，導演勞勃懷斯刻意用大量外景來拍這一首歌曲，不停更換的場景，彷彿旅遊指南般地將薩爾茲堡的精緻美景一一呈現，勞勃懷斯也用這一首歌曲當中瑪莉亞與孩子們的服裝變化、場景更換，來傳達時間一天一天過去的內在意義，讓他們的感情增進、個性的轉變，全部集合在這首歌曲當中。然而這首歌特別的不僅是它又說又唱，親和力十足，茱莉安德魯絲在曲末按著頭頂拉高八度唱出的「Do」，更是讓人印象深刻。
