I have taken Atenolol for over a year. My blood pressure has been
under control within range 72~110.     One thing has draw my
attention that ever since I started Atenolol The Omron indicated
an irregular heart beat. My pause reads between 40~50 and some
time it reads under 40. I told my doctor and she said it could be
the side effect of Atennolol.

3 days ago I felt chest pain in the night and the pain was minor
and sustainable. The next morning when I started my routine
work and experienced dizziness.
I know for sure that symptom is a sigh of heart trouble.
I asked Mari taking me Fremont Hospital for an "ER".
After doctor's check up, the pause was so slow
to the point 29 per minute. Doctor immediate sent for
Helicopter for an emergency operation in Saint Agnes Medical
Center for an instalment of a "Pace Maker."
The Angiogram was conducted and there were no clot in my
arteriel.I was sure that was the results of Atennolol.

I am still recuperating  from the 0peration. People out there,
Beware the side effect and you have to know that Atenolol
might kill you.

Two million Britons are to be taken off blood pressure drugs after studies showed they increase the risk of stokes, heart attacks and diabetes.  From today, beta blockers will no longer routinely be prescribed for high blood pressure.
