據《紐約每日新聞》報導，尼克小將厄利（Cleanthony Early）在當地時間30日凌晨在一家酒吧遭槍擊，右膝中彈。

24歲的前鋒厄利，2014年選秀第二輪第34順位被尼克選中，本賽季至今為尼克斯出戰10場，平均可以得到0.7分。

根據消息來源指出，當地時間週三凌晨4點，厄利與女友離開在皇后區的一家酒吧，與搭計程車返回住處，離開酒吧大約1英里，計程車突然被另外三輛汽車包圍，隨後衝出4到6名帶著滑雪面具的人，其中兩人手裡拿著槍，他們從後座上揪出厄利，要求他交出所有財物，厄利交出身上的現金、手機、珠寶、1條粗大的金項鍊和1副金牙套。

據警方消息人士透露，計程車司機也被搶，歹徒離開時槍擊厄利的右膝蓋。厄利受傷後被送到艾姆赫斯特醫院治療，他的傷勢不會危及生命。

尼克在得知厄利受傷後發表聲明：「我們在今天早上知曉了厄利遭遇的情況，而在得知他沒有生命危險之後鬆了一口氣。在得到進一步的資訊之前，我們不會對這件事情做出過多的評論。」
