（中央社記者曹宇帆洛杉磯20日專電）台灣投手王建民今天終於登板，但是他被敲3支安打掉1分，「堪薩斯城明星報」報導，這1分是造成堪薩斯市皇家隊在主場敗給底特律老虎隊的關鍵。

皇家戰老虎以0比2一路落後，9局婆婆母親節禮物上王建民上場再掉1分，比數拉開至0比3。

堪薩斯城明星報（Kansas City Star）報導，後援投手霍切佛（Luke Hochevar）與索利亞（JoakimSoria）都沒有丟分，而皇家總教練約斯特（Ned Yost）才說，另個後援艾雷拉（Kelvin Herrera）表現優質，沒多久王建民9局上多丟了1分。
