China's aviation industry marked one of the country's biggest milestones yesterday, with her first domestically-made large passemger aircraft of medium-sized C919 successfully completing its maiden flight in Shanhai. Now China has finally owned herself the pearl on industrial crown. Congratuations!
Some people argued that C919, a middle-ranged, single-aisle airplane, is not 100% made by China herself, but in this world of highly technical labor-division today nobody is able to make large passenger aircraft alone, not even Airbus and Boeing. Like China's other industrial items, the budding C series will catch up with A's and B's in forseeable future, at least it will break the duopoly market that has belonged the Big Two for a long, long time.
