《螞蟻》月刊1959年創刊於檳城，由螞蟻出版社出版，是一本十分之本土的文藝雜誌。以雜誌的內容來判斷的話，具文藝批判性之外，經由其（以農田為）封面、詩歌、散文、小說、劇本等都反映了當時的社會背景和關注民生問題，明顯可看出這一班寫作人是愛國主義者兼具左翼特色。 50年代雖為本地中文雜誌發展之鼎盛時期，但當今僅存下來的數量已不多，這份檳城文人自創的《螞蟻》月刊亦屬於文藝鼎盛時期的產物之一，十分之珍貴。我手頭上各有一份－《螞蟻》的創刊號和第三期，雜誌雖已陳舊發黃，經過本人的細心收藏，雜誌無多大破損之餘，仍有五成新。 歡迎有收藏舊雜誌嗜好的收藏家或研究馬華文學的人等能將這珍貴的雜誌帶回去，價錢方面可再商量，欲購買者請留言。 “Ant” Monthly was published on the 1959 in Although 50’s is the climax development of local Chinese language magazine, but it’s hard to find nowadays which only a few of them left. “Ant”, which founded by Those who interested in collecting old magazines or who researching Malaysian Chinese literature are welcome to purchase this valuable items, price can be discuss.Pls leave a message to buy & bid. 底價（Price）：RM20/NT200/US$6.25 ---（圖例）《螞蟻》月刊－創刊號，1959年10月31日出版(Ant 1st issue, published in 31st Oct 1959 )：
