盼了二十多年的桃園機場捷運線，歷經六次通車跳票後，終於在前（二）日通過審議委員會開會討論的程序，決議桃捷應提出有效提升運量的票價方案，包括試營運團體免費一個月，營運後第一個月五折優惠，並有多項定期票價折扣，例如：月票七折，雙月票六五折，季票六折，以及團體票（十人）即可得到八折等優惠，桃捷在今（四）日初勘並則請交通部履勘後，待桃園市政府正式宣布營運後啟用。

依據大眾捷運法，機場捷運票價是以大眾捷運系統運價率計算公式擬訂，若完全以營運成本為基礎，計算的票價從A一台北車站到機場價格高達二七○元，因捷運營運成本高，票價明顯超出民眾負擔，無法發揮機捷效益，以台北到桃機為例，目前價格最高為新台幣一百六十元，比搭乘高鐵轉乘至桃機便宜。
