相隔九五九天，台灣棒球好手王建民重母親節蛋糕推薦台南新登上美國職棒大聯盟投手丘，今天在皇家對雙城之戰的第九局上場投球，投一局無失分，再見三振結束比賽，助皇家七比○勝雙城。

卅六歲的王建民上一次在大聯盟出賽是二○一三年八月廿四日，當時效力多倫多藍鳥，距男朋友母親節禮物離現在九五九天，將近三年的時間王建民在小聯盟的紅人、白襪、水手、勇士、獨立聯盟等，等待機會。

王建民所屬的堪薩斯皇家今天在主場迎戰明尼蘇達雙城，王建民在九局上，皇家七比○領先的情況下上場後援，成為這場比賽皇家對第三任投手。

王建母親節蛋糕預購高雄民保送首名打者，下一棒對決韓國打者朴炳鎬飛球出局，之後用內野滾地球、三振解決打者。
