Star of India - A world Class Collection of Historic Ships Launched

in 1863, Star of India is the oldest ship in the world that still maintains

a regular sailing schedule.

Californian - The schooner Californian is the State's Offical Tall Ship.

A replica of a revenue cutter that patrolled the coast during the Gold Rush,

she takes passengers on adventure sails ranging from a few hous to several days.

Medea - This 1904 steam yacht is a magnificent artifact of the Gilded Age

when steam yachts were the preferred symbol of success among the world's

wealthy elite. She has been restored to her original glory with hand sawn oak,

polished teak and authentic furnishing throughout.

Berkeley - Built in 1898 to carry passengers across San Francisco Bay, she is

the finest example of a Victorian era steam ferry afloat. On board, dicover

exhibits on San Diego's Navy, the commercial fishing industry and stem

propuishion. Her massive engine is demonstrated regularly by museum volunteers.

HMS Surprise - A magnificent replica of a late 18th century Royal Navy frigate,

she was used in the production of the critically acclaimed film "Master and

Commander: The Far Side of the World" On board you will find exhibits

describing warfare at sea in the age of sail.
